Here is a list of some of the paraphernalia that indicates the use of "street" drugs along with what they are used for.


Large cigarette papers (Rizla or other brands), torn packets &/or bits of card
Making cannabis cigarettes (joints, spliffs)

Dog ends (roaches)
Discarded end of cannabis cigarette

Cigarette top & filter, tobacco used

Water pipes (bongs)
Smoking neat cannabis

Small pipes with gauze filter
Smoking neat cannabis

Small pipes without gauze filter
Smoking crack cocaine

Blackened crushed drinks can

Used matches &/or disposable lighter
Heating cannabis resin, heroin or crack cocaine

Blackened tin foil
Smoking heroin

Kitchen herb grinder
Crumbling herbal cannabis

Paper wraps (various sizes, usually shiny paper)
Storing small quantities of heroin, amphetamines or crack

Bank bags, small plastic bags, cling film, twists of paper, small tins and pill pots
Storing a variety of drugs

Sniffing cocaine

Blackened bent spoon, citric acid, used cigarette filter, whole or part of syringe/needle/orange cap
