Drug Info - Crack

Other names
freebase, ice, rock, wash

Crack looks like small white crystals or rocks. It is usually smoked through a pipe.

The effects are really strong but don’t last very long. Crack will make you feel happy, confident and wide-awake. It stops you from feeling tired, hungry or in pain (for a very short time).

Can cause hallucinations, huge mood swings and massive paranoia. The comedown (after effect) makes people feel tired, depressed and have a strong craving for more. Crack is HIGHLY addictive and people who can’t get it often steal or commit crime to find the money to pay for it.

Some people become aggressive/violent. People can have breathing problems as Crack can damage the lungs.

Heavy use can cause difficulty sleeping and make people feel sick a lot. Crack can cause anxiety, paranoia, convulsions (fits/seizures), and can stop people breathing.

Coming off of Crack is VERY difficult.
